#FOTD | September Bright

Well, it’s officially September, and I’m entering fall mode. As the weather cools down, the makeup gets warmer. Warm browns, rosey cheeks, and red lips. Always red lips.

Having a good foundation is key before even thinking about blush, bronzer and lips. Today I used my trusty Benefit’s Porefessional primer and then MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation. A perfect match as my tan starts to fade. I also cannot live without the Maybelline Fit Me concealer (10 Light) for those not so happy spots, and Estee Lauder’s Ideal Light Brush-On Illuminator for dark circles.

A touch of Make Up Forever’s HD Powder, NYC Mosaic blush and bronzer and the pièce de résistance, Revlon’s latest balm addition, the Colorburst Matte Balm in Strinking Spectaculaire (240).
My eyeshadow is a wipe of Maybelline’s Eye Studio Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. And for those long lashes, I used Benefit’s They’re Real, although mine nearly fell apart and was quite the mess to fix, I’m trying to use it up and move on to bigger and better things. When you pay over $20 for a mascara, one would expect it not to fall apart after a month?!
And because no face of the day would be complete without embarrassing selfies, I’ve embraced my oozing sex appeal and present you this museum worthy self-portrait.
Let me know what’s your favorite mascara below and I’ll give them a whirl!
